For employees to perform at their peak performance, the workday should include tactics for work recovery. Pivot’s Built-to-Move program offers these tips on recovering from work:

  • Eat well for proper nutrition
  • Perform counter-strain (movement opposite to the sustained work position)
  • Rest
  • Stretch 10-30 seconds, 3-4 reps
  • Take micro-breaks every 30 minutes throughout the day, 15-45 seconds
