Steven Weiss is a licensed and certified athletic trainer for Long Reach High School in Columbia, Maryland. Steven currently works at the Elkridge clinic and has been part of the Pivot team since July 2019.

He is passionate about educating his athletes and empowering them to optimize themselves mentally and physically. Steven takes a particular interest in community building and connecting with the coach’s parents and athletes. He regularly attends continuing education conventions at the state, regional, and national levels, and he is currently a member of the National athletic training association.

Steven graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training in 2017 from Towson University. He started his professional career at St. Paul’s School in Timonium, Maryland as an assistant athletic trainer before being hired at PIVOT in 2019.

Steven is one of four children raised in Frederick, Maryland. He moved to Howard County three years ago to a single-family home with his wife Lauren of four years, his father Michael, and two cats Poki and Grey. Steven is an avid outdoorsman, often going on trips that include camping, swimming, hiking, and most importantly, rock climbing. He also enjoys competitive online video games and binge-worthy TV. Lauren and Steven enjoy remodeling and decorating their home, cooking delicious homemade food, and going on adventures together.
