Pivot Physical Therapy Expands into North Carolina

CARY, NORTH CAROLINA (OCTOBER 13, 2014) – North Carolina-based Activcare Physical Therapy, a ten clinic private practice, joins Pivot Physical Therapy. The North Carolina clinics are located in Raleigh, Fayetteville, Cary, Clayton, and North Raleigh. With the expansion into North Carolina, Pivot Physical Therapy now operates more than 70 locations in six states.

Pivot Physical Therapy employs more than 500 physical therapists, certified athletic trainers, and support staff who specialize in treating injuries, general orthopedics, post-operative care, total joint rehab, spine care, hand therapy, workplace injury prevention and industrial rehabilitation, and arthritis and pain management. They also provide wellness consultation and fitness training.

In addition to its clinical practice, Pivot Physical Therapy works closely with more than 45 scholastic and collegiate athletic departments to provide athletic trainers and sports medicine services for men and women’s junior varsity and varsity sports. Services include year-round, game day physical sports therapy, comprehensive concussion management programs and injury screens. Its staff also teaches courses to high school coaches on the prevention and treatment of athletic injuries.
