Teri Draper

PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Teri Draper joined the Pivot team in 2017 shortly after earning her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is currently a member of the APTA (American Physical Therapy Association) and is certified in trigger point dry needling. In the first few years of her career, she has taken several courses, including manual therapy of the spine and pain neuroscience education.

One of Teri’s favorite parts of being a physical therapist is helping her patients achieve their goals as they progress through rehabilitation. She enjoys getting to know each of her patients personally and has treated a myriad of musculoskeletal conditions in both upper and lower extremities as well as the spine. She has also gained experience treating temporomandibular (TMJ) dysfunction, headaches, post joint or spine surgeries, tendon repairs, balance disorders and enjoys working with athletes of all ages. Her goal is to teach her patients proper exercises, techniques, and tools to aid in reducing pain, improving function, and ultimately preventing future injury.

In her spare time, Teri loves to read, participate in sports, hike, and spend time with close friends and family. She also loves exploring new places and traveling with her twin sister.
