Taylore Libby has been practicing physical therapy since 2013. She was born and raised in Pittsburgh where she received both her undergraduate degree in Rehabilitation Science as well as her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Pittsburgh. She moved to Maryland in 2014 to work as a staff physical therapist with another therapy group where she acted as a clinical mentor for new graduates and new hires. She was also in charge of growing the Workers Compensation Rehabilitation Program.
She decided to advance her career by taking a position with Pivot Physical Therapy in 2017. She has experience working with a variety of patients, with a special interest in orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, as well as neurological and vestibular disorders. She has experience working with patients of all ages ranging from pediatrics to the geriatric population and enjoys being creative with her treatment programs to adapt to the needs and activity tolerance of her patients.
She is very passionate about her career, her patients, and is always looking for opportunities to better her knowledge and skill set to improve the care that she provides. She is currently working on finishing her dry needling certification and is on track to become a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist through Maitland-Australian Physiotherapy Seminars. Upon completion, she plans to focus on attaining her Orthopedic Certified Specialist certification. She believes that the field of physical therapy is forever advancing and it is important that we as a clinicians commit to our growth as well.
Outside of work, Taylore enjoys spending time and traveling with her family, being active in her church, and participating in local intramural sports with friends.
