Physical Therapist

Taylor Reed joined Pivot Physical Therapy in June 2019. She is a physical therapist at the Fayetteville-Raeford clinic.

Taylor obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Wheeling Jesuit University in 2018 and her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science at Slippery Rock University in 2015. She also had the opportunity to serve, as a student physical therapist, performing pro bono work in Izamal, Yucatan, Mexico. Taylor has had experience working with a wide variety of populations. She has experience in rehabilitating total joint replacements, sport related injuries (sprains, strains, ligament tears), surgical repairs, acute and chronic back and neck pain, deconditioning, balance and vestibular, stroke-related impairments, scoliosis, post-concussion symptoms and TBIs. She has had advanced training in Pain Neuroscience Education, to help patients understand and manage chronic pain, and Blood Flow Restriction Therapy for strengthening benefits across a variety of populations. She serves as a Pivot Vestibular Rehabilitation Specialist and Industrial Services Provider for work hardening, work conditioning, and functional capacity evaluations.

Outside of work, Taylor has a passion for running and spending time outdoors. She enjoys time with her husband, family, friends, and her dog Sonya.
