Susan Hunter
Susan Hunter is a Physical Therapist Assistant who has been a member of Pivot’s Williamsburg team since 2019. She earned her Orthopedic Specialist Credential in 2020, and Credentialed Clinical Instructor Certification in the Spring of 2021. Prior to practicing in the outpatient orthopedic setting, Susan worked in various skilled nursing facilities in and around the Richmond area, helping patients to improve their quality-of-life following illness or surgery. She enjoys learning about patients’ goals for therapy and using her love of anatomy and physiology to lead them in achieving them.
Susan holds a B.S. in Exercise Science from Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia, and an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science / Physical Therapist Assistant from Northern Virginia Community College. She studied massage therapy at the American Institute of Massage in Richmond, Virginia, and has worked in that field as well.
When she is not in the clinic, Susan enjoys crafting, traveling, reading, and making memories with her husband, son, daughter, and lazy, lovable rescue greyhound.
