While working at Pivot Physical Therapy in Berlin, Steve Andrews, MPT, focuses on returning his patients to their highest level of function.  Steve focuses on the most recent medical information and research to assist all of his patients reach their goals. Steve specializes in orthopedics, manual therapy, sports rehabilitation, pre and post-operative care, aquatic therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, arthritis pain management, and wellness and fitness.

Throughout his 15 year career, Steve has worked closely with high school and college students.  He has worked directly with orthopedic doctors that specialize in spinal and joint injuries and provided physical therapy for the actors of the Broadway show “The Producers”. He was published in the “Journal of Sports Physical Therapy” discussing magnet therapy.

Steve graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology and from the University of Maryand, Eastern Shore with a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy.  After 15 years of treating patients in the Baltimore region, he returned to his roots in the Ocean City/Berlin area in 2014.

Personally, Steve enjoys playing basketball and tennis, running, and has interests in sports, cooking, and house restoration. With multiple injuries throughout his sporting hobbies, Steve fully understands through personal experience the importance and rewards of physical therapy.
