Stacy-Jo Krasa earned her BS/MS degree in Occupational Therapy from D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY. Stacy-Jo’s has over 20 years of therapy experience in hospital, inpatient rehabilitation, home care, subacute, and outpatient settings. Stacy’s career focus has been on rehabilitation in the adult and older adult population to improve; balance, self-care, cognitive, and motor skills to maintain function. She developed the outpatient neurocognitive rehabilitation program at Copper Ridge in correlation with the Neurocognitive Clinic. In this program she treated patients for staging in dementia and improving working memory for increased safety. She is LSVT BIG certified for Parkinson’s and offers an extensive knowledge of neurologic rehabilitation to patients that she treats. She is BCAT certified (Brief Cognitive Assessment Tool) which is used for improving cognitive processing and improving working memory. She was a co-presenter and developer for CEU seminar “Clarity Within The Fog: Bringing Out The ‘Me In Dementia” where specific rehabilitation techniques were educated to other therapists.
