
Shreya Shenoy
Shreya joined the Pivot team in February 2020. She brings along with her expertise in the management of Orthopedic and Sports Injuries. She has completed various courses in Manual Therapy and has a special interest in Soft Tissue Mobilization, Taping and treatment of Sports injuries. She has worked as a Sports Physical Therapist with cricket teams and also at several in-patient and out-patient centers at hospitals in Mumbai, India. During this period, Shreya also earned an Orthopedic Fellowship in India.
Prior to joining Pivot, Shreya worked at Skilled Nursing and Short Term Rehab Centers in Maryland in their in-patient and out-patient set ups managing their Post-operative and Geriatric patients with balance and neurological deficits.
Shreya is certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling technique, Aquatic Therapy, Bad-Ragaz Ring method, Wheelchair Seating and Assessment Specialist, several Manual Therapy and Taping courses. Shreya is originally from India and has received her Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy from one of the reputed schools in Mumbai in 2010. She received her Masters of Health Sciences in Physical Therapy degree from University of Indianapolis in 2015 where she was also a Research and Teaching Assistant for PTA students.
Shreya is multilingual and is fluent in English, Hindi and several other Indian languages. She is also learning Spanish. Shreya is a trained dancer and in her free time loves to dance, cook and travel.
