
Scott Ellis
Scott Ellis (MS, ATC), Director of Sports Medicine Outreach and Development, focuses his attention on staff and program development: delivering exemplary services while building and sustaining relationships and partnerships in the sports medicine community. Ellis received his BA from Temple University and MS from Indiana State University in Athletic Training. During his 25 years as an athletic trainer and administrator, Ellis has served in elected leadership roles at the community, state and district level including a Governor appointed position as Business Secretary of the NJ Council of Physical Fitness and Sports. In addition, he assisted in leading the Committee to “National Council of the Year Award” at the National Conference. The NJSIAA recently honored Scott Ellis with the “Sports Award” as athletic trainer of the year. As a clinician, Scott has provided care to youth, high school, college, professional, and senior athletes. Along with being formally published, he has performed extensive public speaking, consulting, and educating in a variety of environments. Scott Ellis is passionate for running techniques, head and neck injury management, functional training, medical fitness and rehabilitation. Scott Ellis demonstrates his excitement in maintaining an active lifestyle as an Eagle Scout, USATF Masters All-American Athlete, and professional adventurer. Having thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine, canoed the Mississippi River, and bicycled 5,000 miles across America: Scott proves that he is a true advocate in motion.
