Clinic Director, Physical Therapist
Saera Brooks welcomes new patients to Pivot Physical Therapy’s clinic in Laurel. Saera brings 15 years’ experience with specialties in pediatrics, geriatrics, and outpatient services. Her vast experience includes working with children with severe mental and physical conditions as well as working with elderly patients with neurological and orthopedic conditions. For the past seven years, Saera’s focus has been on outpatient orthopedic physical therapy. She has dedicated her time helping women with post-partum pain, assisting individuals who are recovering from auto and work-related injuries and ensuring student-athletes return to play as quickly as possible. Saera also has experience in treating patients with Multiple Sclerosis and Bell’s palsy. Her certification in manual physical therapy has given her the skills to treat complicated pain conditions affecting the spine and extremities.
Saera has a passion for physical therapy and is willing to go the extra mile to provide the best treatment for her patients. She is eager to assess and treat the underlying source of her patient’s conditions and to provide ongoing education to help prevent future injuries and ailments.
Saera earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from University of Maryland College Park and her Masters in Physical Therapy from University of Maryland Eastern Shore. In 2011, Saera received her certification in manual therapy from the Manual Therapy Institute.
