Ryan Eastridge is a Physical Therapist & Clinic Director at Pivot’s Dumfries location. He has been with Pivot Physical Therapy since January 2017, when Tidewater Physical Therapy was acquired by Pivot. Prior to that acquisition, he started working as a Physical Therapist at Tidewater Physical Therapy’s Gloucester Courthouse location in August 2014.

Ryan earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Lynchburg College in May 2014. Before that, he had completed his Bachelor’s in Exercise Science, with a double major in Business Administration at Roanoke College, in May 2011.

Ryan obtained an ASTYM certification in March 2015, followed by a number of certifications allowing him to expand his therapeutic knowledge base & treatment strategies, most notably via certification in trigger point dry needling (CMTPT) with Myopain Seminars in August 2018. Ryan enjoys treating a wide variety of orthopedic conditions, and especially when his patients are highly motivated by returning to their sport &/or prior level of function.

Outside of the clinic, Ryan leads a very active lifestyle that includes various means of working out & running. He spends the majority of his leisure time playing basketball & golf, but he enjoys football & soccer as well, having played both throughout most of his life. He also loves spending time with his wife, Ali, who is the Stroke Unit Coordinator at INOVA’s Alexandria hospital, & their 2 labradoodles, Riley & Luna.
