Ryan was born and raised in Lancaster and attended Hempfield High School. He started his career as a PTA in 2010 prior to going back for physical therapy. Ryan attended California University of PA for Bachelors in Sports Management, and then graduated with a Doctorate from Chatham University in 2015.

Ryan joined Pivot in 2018 when the York office first opened and has a love for continuing education. After performing a year residency in orthopedics and passing his exam Ryan is currently listed as an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) under the APTA. He has additional training in manual therapy and is a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT), as well as being certified in Concussion and Vestibular Rehabilitation (AIB-VR/CON). Ryan is also a Direct Access Certified therapist (DAC) so that patients may come directly to physical therapy and be treated without a doctor order (depending on insurance).

Ryan currently lives in Mountville with his wife (Megan) and son (Griffin), as well as 2 pet golden doodles (Finley & Riley). He enjoys a wide variety activities which range from working out and soccer to video games.
