Physical Therapist, Clinic Director
Robert joined Pivot Physical Therapy as a Staff Therapist in February of 2018. He graduated from the University of Delaware PT program class of 2017 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Robert has experience treating a wide range of patients, including athletes looking to return to sport, post-op, orthopaedic, geriatric, and neurological patient populations. He has a passion for creating resiliency in his patients, not only treating their impairments but preparing them for life beyond their diagnosis.
At the University of Delaware Robert also received a Masters in Anatomy and Health Science, which he utilizes to provide insight into the anatomy and physiology of a patient’s condition. In 2012 he graduated from the University of Mary Washington with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. For 3 years he applied motivational techniques to facilitate healthy lifestyles as a Personal Trainer before returning to school. He fuses a love of fitness, knowledge of anatomy, and experience motivating clients to help his patients learn to love movement.
Outside of the clinic, Robert is an avid lifter, a 3 point shooter, a yogi, a mindful meditator, and a lover of dogs. He enjoys cooking, hiking, going to concerts, and cheering on the Wizards and Caps.
