Rashmi joined the Pivot Physical Therapy team as a staff physical therapist in March, 2018. She earned her Doctorate in physical therapy at the Touro College of Health Sciences, NY in 2018. She completed her Bachelors in Physical therapy in 2007 (India), followed by her Masters in health sciences (2015) at the University of Indianapolis, Indiana.
Apart from being interested in orthopedic and sports injuries, she is keen on managing adult neurological deficits and patients with balance problems. Prior to joining the Pivot team, she worked across multiple set ups like inpatient/sub-acute and skilled nursing facilities in Houston, TX, Rashmi brings onboard a vast experience of treating geriatric patients. Through continuing education, she keeps herself updated to the new advancements in her career, in order to strengthen her clinical skills. She is certified in functional mobilization, lumbar pelvic dysfunction, LSVT-Big, IASTM, along with being an APTA certified credentialed instructor (CI).
When not treating patients, she likes to travel, work out, listen to music, dance, and cook. She has a goal to visit all the national parks in the country.
