Palak Ghetiya

Physical Therapist

Palak joined the Pivot team in June of 2021 and works as a physical therapist at our U Street, Washington, DC location. Palak graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. With an interest in working with athletes, Palak has had a variety of strength and conditioning experiences prior to her time at Pivot.

Palak is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and has an interest in sports medicine and manual therapy. She began her career treating professional and collegiate athletes in addition to a variety of orthopedic and post-operative cases while on her clinical rotations. Palak has a background in dance, gymnastics/coaching gymnastics, and strength training.
Professionally, Palak is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), and the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT).

Palak values tailoring treatment sessions to her patient’s presentation and goals. She collaborates with her patients and includes them in the therapy process to provide optimal care.

Outside of the clinic, she enjoys hiking, spending time with her friends, and is an avid basketball fan.
