Physical Therapist, Clinic Director
Nicole is the clinic director and physical therapist (PT) at Pivot’s Frederick, MD (FISC) location. She is a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) meaning she has demonstrated experience, knowledge and skill beyond that of an entry level therapist within orthopedics.
Nicole graduated from the University of Maryland in 2013 with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology and with honors from University of St Augustine for the Health Sciences in 2015 as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT). While at the University of St. Augustine, Nicole completed the entire manual therapy course series, a rigorous, post-graduate level program to enhance her manual therapy skill set in preparation to achieve her Manual Therapy Certification (MTC.) She is a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist (CMTPT) and utilizes dry needling to treat a variety of musculoskeletal, orthopedic and sports related conditions. During her career as a physical therapist, Nicole has also completed an Orthopedic Residency through NxtGen Institute of Physical Therapy and her Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) certification allowing her to treat her patients with the highest level of knowledge and care.
In her free time Nicole can be found in the gym, usually lifting weights and occasionally running, at the beach or hiking in the summer, and spending time with her family on the weekends.
