Nathan Salinas, PTA, is a Physical Therapist Assistant at the Oyster Point Clinic in Newport News, VA. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from Old Dominion University in 2009. Having had an excellent experience personally with physical therapy in his youth, Nathan decided to become a Physical Therapist Assistant. He completed his Associate’s Degree in Applied Science through Riverside’s School of Health Careers in 2014 and successfully passed his licensure exam afterwards.

Nathan has spent 5 years working with acute orthopedic and neurological injuries, as well as post-surgical patients in a hospital inpatient setting prior to arriving at Pivot. Nathan is caring and compassionate with all of his patients and believes that movement is the best medicine.

Nathan grew up locally in Newport News. He is an avid sports fan and loves to run outdoors. Nathan is married to his wife Stefanie and has two children, Jacob and Caroline. During his free time, he loves spending time being active with his family.
