She ultimately found her passion for physical education and graduated with a degree in Kinesiology to pursue her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree. Morgan’s love for Physical Therapy developed through observation of rehabilitation following the stroke of a family member.

Morgan received her DPT degree from  Marymount University located in the DC metropolitan area. During her time in school Morgan developed an interest in treating patients with orthopedic and neurological deficits. Morgan has acute care experience with trauma, orthopedic, and spinal patient populations allowing her to appreciate all phases of healing and rehabilitation from acute to chronic.

Morgan believes in a patient centered care approach to meet patient goals and improve overall function to perform daily tasks from work related activities to hobbies.

In her spare time Morgan enjoys spending time with family and loved ones, shopping, and home décor decorating. Additionally, Morgan is a certified indoor cycling instructor and enjoys exercising and meal prepping based on the Whole30 program.

When asked what is the best advice you have received, Morgan reflects on that from a previous patient. “The patient said don’t forget about us [patients]  we are the one with the issue/condition and most of the time we are scared, anxious, or uneasy because we don’t understand what is going on or why we are in pain, so remember to go slow with your explanations and just show us that you care.”
