Mona is a native of Florida and grew up around alligators and orange groves. While there, she completed her Bachelor’s in Exercise Science in 2004 and her Master’s in Physical Therapy in 2006, both at the University of Florida. Since then, she has worked in a variety of different settings from skilled nursing facilities to large teaching hospitals. She has an interest in pelvic floor rehabilitation and has spent the last 9 year treating pelvic pain, incontinence, endometriosis, and other genitourinary diagnoses. She is comfortable treating both male and female patients. She loves physical therapy because it empowers patients to manage their recovery and improve their quality of life. Currently, she is studying to obtain her Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification.
In her free time Mona enjoys spending time outdoors in warm weather, reading and eating desserts. She also enjoys staying active by running, hiking and traveling (preferably in warm weather!)
