Mike joined Pivot Physical Therapy in 2022 and is the Clinic Director for the clinic here in Leland. He received his undergraduate degree from SUNY Albany in 2008, and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Sage Graduate School in 2011.

Mike has a passion for providing high-level hands-on care with an evidence-based approach to the assessment, treatment, and management of various orthopedic, vestibular, and other sports injury related conditions. His experience includes over 12 years of Out-Patient Rehabilitation working with patients of all populations including Pediatrics, Geriatrics/Home Care, Neuro Rehab, Vestibular Rehab including BPPV & Concussion Management, and chronic/acute pain management.

He is certified to perform Functional Dry Needling through Kinetacore which is the insertion of fine filament needles into neuromuscular junctions/motor points and stimulating the muscle to provide pain relief and help improve function to athletes and patients who have been suffering for years.

Mike is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with extensive medical sideline coverage for elite level rugby teams as well as experience with the USA Men’s Gymnastics Team at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.

In his spare time, he enjoys time practicing jiu-jitsu and traveling around the world with his wife, and is looking forward to becoming a father in 2023 with the birth of his first child/daughter Ellie at the end of January.
