Michael Rios
Mike received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2019 from the University of Sciences in Philadelphia, now St. Joseph’s University, and began his outpatient orthopedic practice that same year. He received his certification to perform Dry Needling in 2021, which he uses frequently to reduce chronic pain and treat trigger points.
In his three years of experience, he has enjoyed working with people of all ages and backgrounds; this includes post-surgical rehab for joint replacements and tendon repairs or reconstructions, neck and back pain, postural restoration, sprains and strains, return to work and sport rehab, chronic pain, and gait and balance impairments.
Mike focuses on creating a team environment in the clinic, and a therapeutic alliance with his clients. As a kind and compassionate therapist, his favorite part of each visit is getting to know his clients better and seeing them achieve their goals.
Mike’s number one hobby is exploring America’s National Parks to hike, camp and photograph their strenuous and scenic trails.
