Meghan Gendzier


Physical Therapist, Clinic Director

Meghan Gendzier is a physical therapist and clinic director at Pivot’s Charlottesville (Hollymead) location. Her primary interests are in orthopedics and dance and performing arts physical therapy. She also holds special interest and experience in manual therapy, pediatrics and adolescents, female athletes, post-concussion and vestibular rehabilitation, and chronic pain. She has received dry needling training and is a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist. Meghan also completed the Manual Therapy Certification (MTC) coursework through the University of St. Augustine and plans to take the certification exam later this year. She has been a Certified Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine and a Certified Health Coach since 2013.

Meghan earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2017 from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology specializing in fitness and wellness in 2013 from the University of Florida. Meghan’s goal for her patients is to utilize her knowledge, experience, and holistic approach to identify, understand, and assist patients in achieving their physical therapy goals through individualized movement, manual therapies, and pain education.

In her free time, Meghan enjoys traveling, hiking, jewelry making, and spending time with her family.
