Maxwell joined Pivot Physical Therapy as a physical therapist in June 2018 at the Rosslyn, VA location. Max’s interest in physical therapy began after watching his father go through return to work protocols after surgery. As a result, Max enjoys working with patients trying to improve their ability to work. As a former high school and college football player, Max also has interests in athletics, strength and conditioning, and post-operative rehabilitation.
Max grew up in Springfield, Vermont and attended The University of Vermont. While there, he received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise & Movement Science, worked 7 years for his campus recreation center, and was a member of the service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega. Max enjoyed Vermont so much he decided to stay for physical therapy school and earned his Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from UVM. As a fresh face in the area, Max enjoys touring museums, walking Roosevelt Island, and hanging out with friends along the H-street Corridor.
