Matthew rejoined Pivot Physical Therapy at the Clayton location in 2021. He had previously worked with the company for over seven years earlier in his career. He currently serves as the Clinic Director in Clayton and he has served in this role for at various locations. Matthew enjoys working with a wide variety of patient populations including student athletes, weekend warriors, vestibular patients, and geriatrics. He has a passion for providing each individual patient with a personalized treatment plan to promote a healthy lifestyle and empowering them to take an active role in their rehabilitation journey. Matt loves building relationships with his patients and being a lifelong member of their health and wellness team. He has special certification in Trigger Point Dry Needling and Graston soft tissue mobilization.  Matt is also an APTA-Certified Clinical Instructor.

Matthew graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2009, and in 2012 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

Outside of work, Matthew enjoys staying active, playing golf, spending time with his wife Brooke and their two boys Hudson and Graham.
