Madison Sales

OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Maddie has been practicing occupational therapy in an orthopedic setting since graduating from Towson University in 2021 with a Master’s in Occupational Therapy. She treats many diagnoses ranging from neurological conditions, neurodegenerative diseases, musculoskeletal impairments, and cognition to name a few. She uses a holistic, client-centered approach to patient care in which the interventions are made up of activities that are meaningful to the patient. As an occupational therapist, Maddie works to support, enable, and empower individuals across the lifespan with various diagnoses to promote independence in any aspect of their life (eg. work, play, education, sleep/rest, leisure, social participation, activities of daily living, and/or instrumental activities of daily living). As an OT, she aims to restore the function of an individual by integrating the patient’s desired occupations to meet personalized goals, created by the patient and therapist using a client-centered approach to achieve maximum occupational performance both physically and mentally.
