
Laura Leonard
Laura Leonard graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2012. She has spent the last nine years in the outpatient setting treating patients of all ages and diagnoses primarily orthopedic in nature. Laura has been a part of the Pivot Physical Therapy team for five years and is currently the clinic director at the Ranson, WV clinic. Laura has played sports since she was 6 and over those years endured several injuries as well as the necessary rehabilitation to get her back in the game. Her athletic experience has instilled a passion for working with patients to help them return to the activities they enjoy and improve their overall quality of life.
Laura grew up just outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and has one older sister. She got married in August 2019 and now lives with her husband in Boyce, VA. She attended University of Pittsburgh for both her undergraduate degree in Rehabilitation Science and Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She is a die-hard Steelers fan and likes to do puzzles in her free time. She played soccer and volleyball until college when she chose to just play volleyball in order to focus more on academics. Laura continues to play volleyball for fun and enjoys short distance running to stay in shape.
