Laura is the Clinic Manager at our Ellicott City, Maryland clinic. She joined the Pivot team in 2018, but has been working in the field since graduating from University of Maryland at Baltimore in 2000, with a Master’s in Physical Therapy. Laura went onto complete her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2008. She worked 13 years in outpatient settings treating people of varying ages and with variety of conditions. She also worked in subacute rehabilitation for 5 years, where her main focus was working with people with traumatic brain injury. Laura also has experience working in hippotherapy (horseback riding for people with disabilities). Currently, Laura plans to continue her education and expanding her skills through continuing education courses.
Laura is happy to be working in her hometown, as she is a graduate of Glenelg High School.
Outside of the clinic, Laura enjoys spending time with her family, friends and two dogs. Laura is an avid equestrian, who rides and competes her two horses.
