Physical Therapist Assistant
Lara Ringgold graduated from Lock Haven University in 2016 with a degree in Health Sciences. After college, she went on to complete her Physical Therapy Assistant Degree at Pennsylvania State University in 2018.
Upon graduation, Lara joined Pivot Physical Therapy at the Gambrills, MD clinic in January 2019. During her time as a student, Lara gained experience in treating pediatrics, sport based orthopedics, and aquatics. Lara was brought on board at Pivot as one of the aquatic therapists here at Gambrills and is taking additional coursework to gain experience in treating concussions.
Lara is passionate about providing quality care to her patients by educating them and instilling the confidence to explore their limits on their way to moving and feeling better. In her free time, Lara enjoys staying active while playing lacrosse, competing in a kickball league with friends and traveling any chance she gets.
