Kyle is a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and the Clinic Director at Pivot’s Norfolk, VA – Poplar Hall location. He moved to Virginia Beach in 2009 after completing Field Artillery School and was attached to Virginia Army National Guard’s Field Artillery Battalion based out of Norfolk, VA. After almost 10 years of service and one combat tour to Iraq, he Honorably Discharged from the Army with the rank of Captain in 2017.

Kyle earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Longwood University in 2008 and has been actively involved in exercise prescription and instruction as either a personal trainer or group exercise instructor since 2005. He started working for the company in 2011 as a Physical Therapy Technician for 4 years before attending PTA school. Kyle then moved on to Tidewater Community College where he earned an Associate’s of Applied Science Degree and a license in Physical Therapist Assisting in May of 2017. He has achieved certifications in strength and conditioning, TRX Suspension Training, Rock-taping, Rock-pods (cupping), Functional Movements, Movement Control, and Functional Standards of Optimal Aging. Kyle highly values the educational learning process as a Clinical Instructor and teaches PTA students that are completing their clinical rotations.

Educating patients and caregivers are a vital part to Physical Therapy Care. I believe in treating the whole patient and consistently maintaining a positive, fun, and energetic atmosphere. I focus on improving my patient’s quality of life by achieving their prior level of function and always keeping injury prevention in mind.”

Kyle lives in Virginia Beach with his wife, daughter, and twin boys, as he remains highly active in improving his own health and fitness.
