Kristen Schleich

PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Kristen graduated in 2015 from UNCG with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology specializing in Sports Medicine. She then continued perusing higher education at UNCG and graduated in 2017 with a Master’s of Science in Applied Neuromechanics. Her research focused on concussions and post-concussive management for female athletes. She found a passion advocating for those that are misrepresented in medical literature and underrepresented in rehabilitation guidelines. This led her to pursue her final degree (for now). In 2020 she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Elon University. Kristen strives to continue advocating for every patient she treats through patient first care.

Kristen is a native of North Carolina and grew up in Cary.  She also works a part-time gig at Fleet Feet in Durham to fulfill her love for running and shoes. Kristen is most known for her extensive shoe collection and will probably be wearing a different pair every day.

Outside of the clinic she can be found hanging out with her family, exploring the outdoors hiking or kayaking with her dog, and rock climbing.
