Certified Athletic Trainer

Keri Foreman is a Certified Athletic Trainer who joined Pivot Physical Therapy in July of 2018 and is the Athletic Trainer at Hedgesville High School. She is registered with the West Virginia Board of Physical Therapy and is also licensed as an Athletic Trainer in the state of Maryland. Keri is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, a Performance Enhancement Specialist, and is currently working on obtaining her Functional Movement Screen Certification. Her primary areas of interest are evidence based practice, head and neck injury management, injury prevention, and maximizing athletic performance with strength and conditioning techniques and nutrition. Keri has been a Certified Athletic Trainer for 16 years and has worked in several settings including Physical Therapy High School Outreach, NCAA Divisions I-III Collegiate Athletics, and the United States Military Academy at West Point.

Keri obtained her Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training from Alfred University in 2002 and was also a member and captain of the Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field teams. After working as an Athletic Trainer for 10 years she went back to school and obtained her Masters of Science in Athletic Training from California University of Pennsylvania in 2013. During her time at CalU she was a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for the University’s Club teams providing practice and game coverage primarily for Men’s and Women’s Ice Hockey and Men’s and Women’s Rugby. She also worked closely with their Strength and Conditioning Coaches to further improve her Strength and Conditioning and injury prevention skills.

In her free time Keri enjoys lifting weights, hiking, mountain biking, riding her motorcycle, spending time with family, doing crafts with her best friend, and traveling.
