Katie attended College of Charleston in South Carolina where she graduated with a B.S. in Exercise Science and a minor in Psychology in 2019. She then began her graduate studies at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. There she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2022. She worked as a physical therapist in Hawaii after graduating before moving to North Carolina to be a member of the Pivot Physical Therapy Team.
Katie has experience working with a variety of ages from high school students to the geriatric population with a wide range of PT diagnoses and activity levels. Katie strives to help her patients return to their highest level of function whether it’s working on balance, strengthening, mobility, or agility. She played a variety of sports growing up, primarily soccer, and has a special interest in working with athletes and those who want to return to sport after injury.
In her free time Katie enjoys staying active with activities such as hiking, playing soccer, training for a race, or working out at the gym. She also enjoys painting, cooking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
