
Kate Czerniak
Kate Czerniak, PT, DPT joined Pivot Physical Therapy in the fall of 2021 at the Cary Aquatics location, treating a mix of aquatic and land-based therapy. In the spring of 2022, Kate transferred to our Holly Springs location.
Kate diagnoses and treats a wide variety of orthopedic pathologies. She is certified in dry needling and has a special interest in cervical and shoulder injuries, as well as working with young athletes. She gained interest in the field of physical therapy after a sports injury required her to do PT in order to return to playing field hockey.
Kate was raised in New Jersey. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Neuroscience from the University of Connecticut in 2017 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Marymount University in 2021.
Outside of physical therapy, Kate enjoys spending time with her husband and golden retriever, playing in adult sports leagues, as well as baking and hiking in her free time.
