Jessie enjoys treating a wide range of patients, but has special interests in both pediatrics and sports medicine. Her clinical experience ranges from post-operative orthopedic rehabilitation to inpatient pediatric neurological rehabilitation at UVA Children’s Hospital. Jessie has work experience as a physical therapist for an assisted living facility, where treatments consist predominantly on balance improvement and fall prevention for the geriatric population. She presented her clinical research, entitled “Development of a Safe Cardiovascular Wellness Program for a Patient Three Years Following Spinal Cord Injury: A Case Report” at the APTA’s Combined Sections Meeting in Chicago, Illinois in 2012, for which she received her University’s Professional Writing and Communication Award. Jessie enjoys working with all patients of all ages to return them to their maximum level of function.
Jessie received her Bachelor’s of Science and Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University, in Winchester, VA. Jessie is a native to Fairfax, VA.
