Jeremy Peterson, PT, DPT is a physical therapist who joined the Pivot team in 2019. As a staff member of the Burlington, NC clinic, Jeremy works with a wide variety of individuals undergoing nonoperative and post-operative rehab. This includes individuals recovering from athletic injuries, work injuries, arthroscopic surgeries, total joint replacements, motor vehicle accidents, and falls. He also works with many patients dealing with chronic pain, and Jeremy has a vested interest in helping them return to a fulfilling, active lifestyle! His treatment philosophy heavily emphasizes empowering patients with the tools to manage their condition independently and addressing rehab and pain management in a holistic manner. Jeremy has post-graduate education in the McKenzie method for managing neck and back pain, and has obtained certification to perform dry needling through Double E Education.
Jeremy graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from East Carolina University in 2013, during which he completed an internship with extensive work on corporate wellness, group fitness, and personal training. He completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Campbell University in 2016 as a member of Campbell’s inaugural DPT class.
During his time out of work, Jeremy enjoys spending time with his wife and family as well as staying active with exercise, weightlifting, and outdoor activities. He also has a love for traveling and exploring new places and cultures. Jeremy enjoys meeting new people from various backgrounds and would be glad to help you with all of your PT needs!
