James is the former owner of Pantops Physical Therapy. In 2017, Pantops rebranded to Pivot Physical Therapy. He treats patients in the Charlottesville, VA clinic. James enjoys learning, perfecting his skills and applying new information to his practice every day. That’s why, he has taken numerous continuing education courses.
James completed a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from State University of New York at Buffalo in 1998. In 1996, he graduated Magna Cum Laude from State University of New York at Buffalo with a Bachelor’s in Exercise Physiology.
He maintains professional memberships with the American Physical Therapy Association and the Vestibular Disorders Association. He has published a variety of articles in Advance publications.
In 2002, James taught a Vestibular Rehabilitation course at Norfolk’s DePaul Medical Center and developed their Total Joint Replacement Rehabilitation Protocol for both pre- and post-surgical patients. In 1999, he founded the Dizzy Doers, a vestibular support group in Hampton Roads, VA.
