
Jackie Morino
Jackie Morino, PT, DPT joined Pivot Physical Therapy as the Clinic Manager of the Wakefield location in March of 2023. Throughout her career as a Physical Therapist, Jackie has been afforded the opportunity to work with many High School and collegiate level athletes. She is also passionate about working with the peri and postpartum population to promote a positive, pain-free, and active pregnancy, and safe return to activity postpartum.
Jackie received her Bachelors’ degree in Kinesiology from Penn State University (WE ARE!) and graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh. While at Pitt, Jackie was awarded the Jessie Wright Memorial Award for her academic achievements and performance as a student clinician. She is currently certified in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), as well as has experience with Postural Restoration (PRI) and Women’s Health/ Pelvic Floor Rehab. Jackie utilizes techniques of manual therapy, postural restoration, IASTM, myofascial decompression in combination with functional strengthening and neuromuscular retraining to aid in the return to pain-free function.
In her spare time, you will find Jackie “practicing what she preaches” as her lifestyle is nothing short of active. Jackie has personal experience in the bodybuilding field, as well as within the CrossFit and Triathlete communities. She has competed in local CrossFit competitions, and more recently has been competing in and training for Ironman 70.3 races. When she is not riding her bike or running around town, you can find Jackie rooting for Penn State Football and the NY Giants or hanging out with her husband and puppy Ruckus!
