Clinic Director, Physical Therapist
Grant signed on with Pivot Physical Therapy in February of 2016 working in Columbia Maryland. Prior to this he worked for Chesapeake Physical Physical and Aquatic Therapy which then merged to become a part of Pivot. As of January 2018 he will be the clinic director at the Du Burns clinic in Baltimore, Maryland.
Grant is proud to hold an orthopedic manual therapy certification (COMT) through Maitland-Australian Seminars. Additionally, he is certified in functional movement screenings (FMS-C), and a Credentialed Clinical Instructor through the APTA. Grant is currently taking appropriate steps to become an Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) in order to aid with more acute, on field injuries and work toward becoming a Sports Certified Specialist in upcoming years.
Grant received his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland College Park in 2010. Following UMCP, he attended the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, earning his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2014. Grant has a tremendous amount of Maryland pride.
Outside of the clinic Grant enjoys being an active member in the Canton community and spending time with his girlfriend. You can often find him at Patterson park playing his favorite sport, Ultimate Frisbee. Additionally, he plays soccer though the Charm City Soccer League, Softball through Volo City, and enjoys jogging along the waterfront and participating in local 5K’s and the Baltimore Running Festival. Grant is very excited to further integrate himself into the Baltimore community by being able to provide physical therapy services at the new Du Bruns Arena location.
