Gabriella K., PT, DPT is a Physical Therapist at the Foxhall location in Washington, DC. She goes by Gabby for short! She enjoys treating and working with all athletes, individuals with vestibular or vertigo dysfunctions, neurological populations, those with gait and balance disturbances, and runners. She attended Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ and completed a Bachelor of Health & Exercise Science with a minor in Spanish. She went on to complete her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. While in undergrad, Gabby played D3 volleyball for Rowan University. She was also the Community Outreach Coordinator for her school’s pro bono physical therapy clinic while studying Physical Therapy at Temple University.
Gabby is passionate about individualized treatment for patients who want to return to weightlifting, specifically the female population! She is a native English speaker but also speaks Spanish. She has taken vestibular coursework and has an interest in pursuing a dry needling certification. Prior to joining the Pivot/Athletico team, she was a contracted therapist working in various outpatient clinics within the DMV. She’s also had 2 years of inpatient rehabilitation experience treating individuals who have had spinal cord injuries, amputations, post-op traumatic and non-traumatic orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, and provided cardiac rehabilitation.
When she’s not at work, she enjoys lifting, running, biking, and hiking with her partner and her puppy dog! She also enjoys dinner with friends, traveling in and out of the U.S., cooking, listening to funky music, completing sudoku puzzles, and watching movies on her cozy couch with her family.
