Fatmata Bangura, PT, DPT, CMTPT, AIB-VR/CON, COMT is currently a Physical Therapist and Clinic Manager at our Alexandria, VA (Beacon at Groveton) location and has been a member of the Pivot Physical Therapy Team since October 2020. Fatmata has gained experience in Vestibular Rehabilitation, Manual Therapy, Kinesiotaping, Myofascial Decompression (Cupping Therapy), Balance Training, Total Joint Rehabilitation, Orthopedic Rehabilitation (Chronic and Acute post-surgical), Stroke, Gait Training, Neuromuscular rehabilitation, Strengthening and Conditioning.

Fatmata obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine; Miami FL campus. Before attaining her DPT, Fatmata received her Bachelor Degree from University of Maryland; College Park location, from the School of Public Health with a concentration in Kinesiology.

When she is not practicing Physical Therapy, Fatmata enjoys exercising, meditating, pilates, traveling, reading, skiing, going to the beach, jet skiing and hanging out with family and friends.
