Erin L. Mitchell, PT, DPT, CMTPT, AIB-VCR is a Physical Therapist and the Clinic Director at our Wilmington (Foulkstone) location. She has advanced certifications in dry needling and vestibular rehabilitation. In addition, she has advanced training in the McKenzie (MDT) approach to treat spine and peripheral joint impairments. Erin has worked consistently for Pivot throughout various DE clinics the past 5 years, with the exception of 8 months in which she worked as a home-based physical therapist.
Erin is a 2015 graduate of Temple University’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program, in Philadelphia, PA. In 2012, she completed her undergraduate degree at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science. A member of the Honors College, Erin completed an undergraduate thesis looking at the effects of lifelong activity and sedentary behaviors on muscle architecture and physiology.
Erin lives in Wilmington with her husband, Dan, and rescue dog, Spike. When not working, she enjoys being outdoors, hanging out with family and friends, and living an active lifestyle.
