Erin McClanahan

PT, DPT, ATC

Physical Therapist

Erin McClanahan is a Doctor of Physical Therapy at our Olney clinic. Erin joined our Pivot team in early 2022. Erin loves all things musculoskeletal and enjoys working with the athletic population, post-surgical patients as well as older adults. Her passion is empowering all of her patients through education and movement to help them overcome mental and physical barriers to return to the recreational activities that they love and improve their overall health. Erin enjoys building rapport with her patients and understands the importance of customizing each treatment plan based on the individual needs of the patient. Helping her patients achieve and surpass their goals is the most rewarding part of the job. Erin plans to continue learning about how to best treat the athletic population as well as chronic pain patients through continuing education courses in 2023.

Prior to joining Pivot, Erin attended The University of Delaware where she received a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training. Shortly after that she passed the Board of Certification exam for Athletic Training. She then went on to obtain her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Duke University where she also worked as an Athletic Trainer for Duke Club Sports.

In her spare time, Erin enjoys spending time with family, friends and her black lab Dottie. She likes to stay active with lifting, running, and rock climbing.
