Emily Hollomon grew up in Dallas, TX where she attended the University of Dallas, played volleyball, and received a Bachelor of Arts in History. She really wanted to live somewhere a little colder for a while so she chose to attend Marymount University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program in Arlington, VA. While at school, she completed a clinical case report regarding optimal exercise protocols for patients with hypermobility disorders. During her final year of study she traveled to Nicaragua where she spent two weeks developing a rehab program for pre-prosthetic amputees. Upon graduation, Emily moved down to Richmond with her husband Luke and their dog Gus. Emily is currently certified in vestibular rehabilitation by the internationally recognized American Institute of Balance.
Outside of work, Emily likes reading, camping with her family, rock climbing and trying new restaurants. She also really enjoys catching up on sleep whenever possible, especially if her dog wants to cuddle.
