Denise Miller

PTA, OPTA

Physical Therapist Assistant

Denise joined Pivot in March of 2018 after interviewing at the West Point location and falling in love with the tight-knit community. She enjoys the family atmosphere and the team with whom she works. When she heard about the Orthopedic Specialty Program offered by Nxtgen Institute, she knew that she did not want to miss the opportunity to provide this specialty to her patients. Denise earned her OPTA specialization in 2019. She enjoys meeting new people and puts emphasis on creating a comforting and trusting environment for her patients. Her passion for helping people enables her to ensure that everyone receives the highest quality of care possible.

Denise is a German native who arrived in the United States in 2010. After working as a Personal Trainer for four years, she realized that she had a passion for rehabilitation and post-surgical clients. Ready for a new adventure, she enrolled in the PTA program at South University in Virginia Beach, VA, from which she graduated in 2017.

Denise has a passion for saving the environment and has recently established a battery recycling program at the West Point location. Anyone can donate used batteries by dropping them off at the clinic. Denise’s hobbies include working out and exploring new places with her dogs, Milo, Ginger, and Ruckus.  Her love for animals inspired her to start a reptile rescue; she has already rescued several types of geckos and hopes to help other reptiles in the near future as well.
