Physical Therapist Assistant, Clinic Director

Deborah joined Pivot Physical Therapy as a staff Physical Therapist Assistant in August of 2015. She attended the University of Maryland, College Park where she graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology. Shortly after, she attended Montgomery College, Takoma Park where she obtained her Physical Therapist Assistant license. She has a passion for improving the quality of life of her patients by providing high quality care through a combination of manual therapy and functional/therapeutic exercises.

Deborah has recently successfully completed the Orthopedic Physical Therapist Assistant Specialization program through a partnership between Pivot Physical Therapy and NXT Gen Institute of Physical Therapy. This program has allowed her to advance manual skills, improve movement analysis and expand exercise knowledge in order to provide higher quality care to her patients and assistance to her physical therapists by establishing greater continuity of care.

Outside of work, Deborah enjoys staying active. She plays competitive volleyball and does recreational swimming. She also enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
