Dan Johnson is a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), ImPACT-Trained Physical Therapist (ITPT), and a Certified Clinical Instructor (CCI) and has worked for Pivot Physical Therapy in Wilkes Barre since November of 2016. In addition to treating patients, Dan also serves as the Clinic Director. Although Dan works with all age groups and levels of function, his passion is working with athletes which is supported by his history as a strength coach as well as specialization in concussion rehabilitation. He has extensive experience as a personal trainer/strength coach, high school football coach, and physical therapist. In addition to his hands-on experience with patients and clients, Dan has also worked for Scorebuilders writing practice questions and tests for individuals studying for the National Physical Therapy Examination.

Dan Earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of New England and prior that, a Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Studies from Misericordia University. He has also a strong commitment to continuing education and has acquired over 200 hours of education on concussion and orthopedic condition evaluation and management.

Dan lives in Mountaintop with his beautiful daughter Ellie. He enjoys all outdoor recreational sports as well as weight training.
