Craig Mason PT, DPT, ATC, CMTPT is the Clinical Director of the Pivot Physical Therapy – Westchester Commons in Midlothian, VA. He has been serving patients with Pivot Physical Therapy since August 2016. Craig primarily treats people with general orthopedic injuries, but also enjoys treating those with vertigo, dizziness, balance disorders and concussions. As a certified manual trigger point therapist, Craig uses trigger point dry needling to address the root cause of chronic and persistent pain.

Craig is also a certified athletic trainer and loves to help athletes of all ages return safely to play. He has previous experiences working as a student athletic trainer for James Madison University athletics and Eastern Mennonite University athletics. Before and during physical therapy school, he provided PRN athletic training coverage for local high school athletics throughout Hanover, Henrico and King William counties.

Craig graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training in May 2012. He earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University in May 2016. Craig became a Certified Manual Trigger Point Therapist through Myopain Seminars in November 2020.

When he is out of the clinic, you can find Craig spending time with his wife, Lauren and son, Silas, by hiking in the Shenandoah National Park, kayaking on the James River or supporting the Dukes of James Madison University.
