Cory Wirt, MSPT, TPI-CGFI MP2 is the Clinical Director at the Brandermill clinic, and the Area Manager for South Richmond. He joined Pivot in 2016, but has been treating patients in the Richmond area since 2001, and has been at the Brandermill office since 2005. Cory received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Virginia Tech in 1998. He then went on to earn a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the Medical College of Virginia (VCU) in 2001.

Cory has taken a variety of continuing education courses throughout his career, and has treated patients from as young as 2 weeks, up to 98 years old. He is also a level 2 certified golf fitness instructor through Titleist Performance Institute. He enjoys working with the golfers and athletes for return to sport, but also has specialties in temporomandibular disorders and custom orthotics. Cory believes in taking a “hands on” approach, and providing a customized treatment plan for each patient. He uses a variety of manual techniques combined with exercise and functional activities to restore patients to their pre-injury condition.

In his spare time, you can usually find him at the soccer fields watching his daughter and son play. He also enjoys basketball, golfing, woodworking, spending time with family.
